Washington Redskins star back Clinton Portis chances of playing against Dallas Sunday are “50-50,” said Redskin coach Jim Zorn.  Portis did not practice with the team Monday, due to a sprained knee he suffered on the last play of the opening quarter against the Steelers. Zorn said the treatment is not helping him any like they were hoping. Portis, would like nothing more than to play and pick up the 5 yards he needs to surpass 1000 for the season, against his NFC East rival. If he can`t go, Washington will be in deep trouble at that position. Backup Ladell Betts is still out with a even worse knee injury. Newly signed Shaun Alexander has made litle impact and is still rusty.
