The Washington Redskins who have seen their season end recently against the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, came away with a 20-17 win Sunday. Washington was lead by quarterback Jason Campbell and star back Clinton Portis. This game was as close as the score indicated. Washington was backed up at their own 4-yard line with 7 minutes left. That`s when Clinton Portis took over and showed why he will be at this years Pro Bowl in Hawaii. He had decisive runs of 9, 11, and 20 yards to put the Redskins in field goal range.

Then backup Ladell Betts did the unthinkable. He fumbled, giving Seattle the ball back, down 20-17 with a chance to win. On Seattle`s first play of their possible game-winning drive, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck under threw wide-out Koren Robinson, causing Shawn Springs to gladly intercept Hasselbeck, sealing a Redskin win. Campbell finished the day 20-33 with 206 yards passing and 1 touchdown. Portis continues to defy the odds, playing with a sprained knee. He finished the game with 29 rushes and 143 yards. Washington stayed in second place with Dallas at 7-4 in the tight NFC EAST race for second place.
