The Baltimore Ravens dominated the Washington Redskins 24-10 Sunday night. Lead by a stellar defense and safety Ed Reed.   Reed single-handily killed Washington. His interception and fumble recovery, killed Washington’s efforts to gain ground in the declining NFC East.

Baltimore rookie Joe Flacco, continues to be impressive and efficient in leading the Ravens to a 9-4 record. That`s good for second place in the AFC North behind Pittsburgh and Ben Roethlisberger. Flacco got the scoring started in the first, with a 26-yard pass to Derrick Mason. That would lead the Ravens Le`Ron McClain to a 8-yard touchdown run on the next play from scrimmage.

The 3rd possession for the Redskins, lead to a promising 11-yard run by Clinton Portis. However, Portis was stripped of the ball by guess who, Ed Reed.  Reed took the fumble in for a touchdown to put the Ravens up 14-0.  The Redskins would add a field goal and Jason Campbell would hook up with Antwan Randle-El on a five yard touchdown pass. That would bring Washington to within 7 at 17-10.

But Baltimore was just to much. Joe Flacco hit Derrick Mason with a 28-yard touchdown pass with 3:35 left in the game, to seal it for Baltimore at 24-10.  Washington is now 7-6 after starting 6-2. Campbell was very ineffective going- 21-37 for 218 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 costly interceptions. The Raven defense was also dominate as mentioned, by holding Portis to 11 carries for 32 yards.  Flacco continues to be another unbelievable rookie. He finished the day going-10-21 for 134 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Meanwhile Ed Reed continues to kill the Redskins!!!
