Portis aching again, but expected to play…
The Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis missed practice Friday with a muscle spasm, in what appeared to be his back and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Washington Coach Jim Zorn said he expects Portis to be ready to play.”He’s working out the kinks,” Zorn said. “It would have to be pretty severe for him to stay out.” Portis who has fought through a rash of injuries this season, has been labeled as being tough as nails. The Redskins whose playoff chances are as bleak as a cold winters` night, are now 7-7 in the NFC East losing three in a row.
